The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, known as CAL OES, has delivered a wildfire readiness trailer as part of a grant to the Safe Community Project. The trailer, which when outfitted will include all of the tools, materials, and work materials to support our efforts in wildfire mitigation. 

The trailer will be used for not only demostrations related to home hardening and defensible space, but also as a staging resource when either of our SoCA divisions are called upon to provide wildfire repopulation support for area fire departments. 

In addition to Cal OES, the trailer is a component of the overall relationship with the Safe Community Project, California Listos, and the California Fire Safe Council.
